This brief presents A 16/32Gb/s dual-mode transmitter including a linearity calibration loop to maintain amplitude of the SST driver. Linearity detection and corresponding master-slave power supply circuits are designed implement proposed architecture. The is manufactured in 22nm FD-SOI process. reduces peak INL errors by 50%, RLM rises from 92.4% 98.5% when PAM4 mode. chip area 0.067mm2, while enhanced part 0.05×0.02mm2 total consumption 64.6mW with 1.1V supply. can be detached circuit without consuming extra power.

Enhanced performance of SERDES current-mode output driver using 0.13 μm PD SOI CMOS
A current-mode output driver that supports SERDES applications is implemented using 0.13 μm Bulk and PD SOI CMOS technologies. Schematic simulation results confirm the enhanced performance of PD SOI for very high-speed interfaces. The PD SOI current-mode driver shows a 3 times lower data dependent jitter than the Bulk current-mode driver at the same 3.125 Gbps data rate of XAUI standard.
